Meyers Lemonade
w Rosemary + Honey
Gluten-free and Vegan. Low in sugar.
A refreshingly healthy take on a fun summer beverage that has the tendency to be far too sugary.
Meyers lemons tend to not be as bitter and tart as regular lemons so I love them for this drink!
(I like to keep it a bit tart so if you want a bit more sweetness you can add 1/2 tbsp more but much more than that and you know it's just becoming a sugary sweet drink again!)

YOU WILL NEED

3-4 Meyers Lemons (enough to make 1/2 cup of lemon juice)
1.5 tbsp organic honey
1 large sprig of fresh rosemary
4.5 cups of water
Dash of salt
1.5L Pitcher
DIRECTIONS
-pour 1 cup of water into a small pot with the honey and the whole rosemary stem.
-simmer on medium heat with the lid on while you prepare the lemons, remembering to stir occasionally.
-Slice the lemons in half and juice them.
-pour juice into a measuring pitcher until you have 1/2 cup.
-pour the juice through a strainer into the pitcher or jar you will serve the lemonade from.
-At this point, the rosemary will have been infused into the honey water and you can -pour that through the strainer into the pitcher as well.
-Add approximately 3.5 cups of water (If you are using a larger pitcher be sure not to add too much water or else it will be very watered down.)
-Serve with ice and garnish with a small sprig of rosemary and a lemon wheel!
